REGISTER
OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL FACILITIES
(REFF)
REFF the Register of English
Football Facilities is
a project funded by the
Football Foundation with
the backing of our funding
partners; The FA Premier
League, The FA, Sport
England and the DCMS.
The Football Foundation has
created an extensive database
of over 21,000 football sites
in England, detailing ownership
and the facilities available.
The survey will allow the Foundation
to identify hotspots where facilities
are in need of improvement.
REFF will also assist in the
development of local facilities
strategies, enabling the Football
Foundation to proactively target
funding towards these areas.
"This is a project
by football for football. It
is the biggest thing to happen
to the grass roots of the game
since the creation of the Foundation.
The REFF Project underlines
the commitment of the football
family to put something back
into the game."
Garth Crooks, Chair of the
Foundation's Grass Roots Committee
