Why are some footballs red?

On the facility finder map view, the majority of footballs are black and white. There are however some that are coloured red, indicating they are not plotted in their correct location. If you can feedback the correct location of any of the red footballs, you could be entered into a draw to win a pair of Premier League match tickets.
